Member of the Year: This award recognizes an active WTS San Antonio Region member who has shown exceptional commitment to the organization’s mission, programs, and success. The recipient exemplifies volunteerism, leadership, and a collaborative spirit within the chapter.

Criteria:

Current WTS San Antonio Region member in good standing.
Demonstrated leadership through participation in committees, programs, or chapter events.
Consistently promotes WTS’s mission and goals.
Serves as an ambassador for the organization within the transportation community.

2025 WTS San Antonio Region Members of the Year - Harley Hubbard & Shemetra McGee

WTS San Antonio Region is proud to honor Harley Hubbard & Shemetra McGee as the 2025 Members of the Year.

Harley leads with integrity, creativity, and purpose, bringing passion and dedication to multimodal transportation and bicycle infrastructure. A committed WTS San Antonio member, she consistently mentors and encourages women to pursue leadership while fostering confidence and inclusion. Her professional excellence and commitment to advancing women in transportation have made a meaningful impact.

Shemetra “Shay” is an outstanding leader and dedicated WTS San Antonio member. Since joining in 2021, she has served in multiple leadership roles, advancing initiatives that strengthen inclusion, engagement, and recognition. Known for her energy, creativity, and thoughtful leadership, Shay consistently steps up to support the chapter and its members.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate both Harley and Shay as WTS San Antonio Members of the Year. Their leadership, service, and commitment to our chapter embody the very best of WTS.
