Each year, WTS San Antonio Region (SAR) recognizes the remarkable individuals, organizations, and projects that are advancing women in the transportation industry. These awards honor leadership, innovation, and dedication to creating a more equitable and inclusive transportation community.
We invite you to submit nominations for our 2025 awards! Whether you’re recognizing a colleague, mentor, project, or organization that’s making a difference, your nomination helps us highlight and celebrate the people shaping the future of transportation in our region.

Woman of the Year – Honors a woman who has made extraordinary contributions to the transportation industry.

Member of the Year – Recognizes an active WTS SAR member who has shown exceptional commitment to the chapter’s mission and programs.

Employer of the Year – Celebrates an organization that actively supports the advancement of women in transportation through leadership, opportunities, and development.

Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award – Recognizes an individual or organization that has significantly contributed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in transportation.

Innovative Transportation Solutions Award – Highlights a project or initiative that showcases creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking approaches to solving transportation challenges.

Honorable Ray LaHood (Man of the Year) Award - Recognizes a man who has been an outstanding champion for women in transportation. This award honors his commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through advocacy, mentorship, and leadership.
