Honorable Ray LaHood (Man of the Year) Award: Recognizing advocacy, allyship, and leadership in advancing women in transportation. The Ray LaHood Man of the Year award honors a male professional who has made significant contributions to promoting the advancement of women and diversity within the transportation industry. The recipient exemplifies the values of inclusion, mentorship, and equity through his actions, leadership, and ongoing support of the WTS mission.

  • Demonstrates consistent support for the professional growth and advancement of women in transportation.
  • Actively mentors or sponsors women in their career development and leadership pursuits.
  • Actively participates in or supports WTS programs, committees, or events.
  • Serves as a role model and advocate for building a more inclusive transportation community.
