Six $5,000 scholarships are available through the WTS International Pinnacle and Strategic Level Corporate Partners. These scholarships support the WTS Foundation's development of students in the transportation field by encouraging bright new professionals and students to undertake careers in transportation. Strategic Partner Scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of HNTB, AECOM, HDR, Jacobs, and WSP. Winners of the 2027 Strategic Partner Scholarships will be invited as special guests to the WTS International Annual Conference and will accept their scholarship on stage at the WTS Foundation Gala in Washington, DC in May 2027. 

Criteria

The minimum criteria to apply include:

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the time of application.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Currently enrolled in a transportation-related field, such as engineering, planning, finance, construction/project management or logistics.
• Plans to pursue a career in a transportation-related field.

Strong applications will highlight the students’ leadership and engagement in their chosen field of study, present a compelling personal statement, and include references that demonstrate strong support for the candidate. Applications close on Friday, December 11.
