WTS Puget Sound/Seattle Chapter:

Advancing Equity and Leadership in Transportation Since 1982

Since 1982, the WTS Puget Sound Chapter has championed equity in the transportation industry by creating meaningful opportunities for professionals and students to grow, connect, and lead. We are dedicated to attracting, sustaining, and advancing women in transportation through offering a variety of professional development, mentoring, educational, and networking programs.

WTS Puget Sound is more than a professional organization—together we’ve built a strong, welcoming community where people can share knowledge, build relationships, and navigate their careers with confidence. Our annual Scholarship and Awards Gala, which draws more than 800 industry professionals, showcases the strength of that community and celebrates the leadership, achievement, and impact our members bring to the local transportation industry every day.

We’re especially proud to invest in the future of our industry. Each year, we award more than $60,000 in scholarships to women and non-binary students pursuing transportation-related degrees, helping to shape a more diverse and representative workforce. Our Transportation YOU (TYOU) program introduces high school students to STEM and transportation careers, sparking curiosity and confidence in the next generation of leaders.

As the Puget Sound region grows and changes, women’s voices and leadership continue to be essential. WTS Puget Sound is helping shape that industry future—and we invite you to be part of it. Whether you're a student, professional, or industry partner, there’s a place for you in our community. Sign-up for our newsletter to stay connected, get involved, and help us build a more inclusive transportation industry.
