Welcome to WTS Puget Sound!
It was the fall of 1982 when the Puget Sound Chapter had its first general meeting. Since then, the WTS Puget Sound Chapter has come a long way and today, WTS has become one of the most visible and valued forums for discussing transportation trends and projects and highlighting women in transportation leadership.

2021 Summer Break
WTS Puget Sound is taking a break for the summer (and we hope you are too). While our programs and e-newsletters will pause for the next two months, you can always reach out to us with questions, comments or your desire to get more involved by emailing us at email@example.com. While we plan a fresh set of programs, mentoring, and other engagement for next fall, be sure to check out our WTS Puget Sound website to learn about upcoming events.
2020 Gala Refund Update
After more than a year of persistent effort to recover the ticket charges from the cancelled March 2020 WTS Awards and Scholarships Gala, we’re happy to share that we were recently able to secure the refund for the cost of your purchased ticket(s). Starting July 1, we will reach out to those who purchased tickets and have requested a refund to begin the refund process. If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A message from the WTS Puget Sound Board President
It is an immense honor to serve as the President of this wonderful organization. There are many things that our chapter provides that I don’t take for granted. From the personal connections we build through our involvement, to the partnerships we form and strengthen, to the leadership opportunities and outreach — all with one common goal: to advance women and advance transportation.
As our state, industry, and community are slowly emerging from this global pandemic, I am eager for this coming year to be able to provide some of the events and activities that we’ve missed during the pandemic, as well as to implement all the lessons we’ve learned that have made us more resilient. We will continue to monitor and follow state-mandated safety protocols and procedures as we restart our programs and activities for the 2021 – 2022 year.
I’m especially excited to lead the Chapter with a renewed focus on equity in transportation that would extend beyond our industry. Thank you to our WTS Puget Sound board, members, and corporate sponsors for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
