The WTS New Jersey mentoring program provides a forum for women in transportation seeking development of the skills necessary to achieve success in both their professional and personal lives. The program offers support from experienced mentors as well as peer networking and candid conversations with successful transportation leaders in New Jersey. Benefits for the mentor include sharing career success stories with future women leaders, building long-term relationships and giving back to an industry that needs to hear and remember these stories. Mentees gain the knowledge and wisdom of the women pioneers who blazed the path before them. WTS also offers a variety of networking events with other mentor teams.
2021 Mentoring Program
WTS New Jersey is excited to introduce our 2021 Mentoring Program! Through this program, select candidates will be paired with mentors from diverse career paths who will provide them with guidance and support as they navigate their careers. Join us on February 10th from 5:30-7 for our Virtual Open House, which will feature a panel discussion with industry leaders on how mentoring has helped shape their careers. The Open House will highlight information on the Mentoring Program, including monthly sessions where participants will gain the knowledge and confidence necessary to help empower themselves as future leaders within the industry.
