WTS NJ Virtual Technical Session: Community Engagement for Safer Streets
Please join us a our second technical Series of 2026, Community Engagement for Safer Streets: Lessons from Vision Zero and NJSEA MAP4S! Presented by Melissa Johnson Associates, this session will cover how to right-size an engagement strategy to align with your project’s scale, the community’s needs, and the client’s capacity. It will highlight specific tools and methods, including pop-up events, multilingual outreach, and partnerships with community-based organizations, to gather meaningful, actionable input.
The session will also demonstrate how clearly communicating the role of community feedback in project decisions can build public trust and long-term support.
