Empowering the Next Generation of Transportation Leaders

WTS Delaware organizes its student-focused initiatives through a coordinated Student Outreach Committee, providing a unified approach to the Chapter’s efforts to engage, educate, and inspire the next generation of transportation professionals. The committee is comprised of two primary outreach initiatives, Transportation YOU and the Student Chapter, which work together to promote awareness of transportation-related careers, provide meaningful professional development opportunities, and connect students with professionals in the industry. Regarding scholarships, high school and collegiate students, including undergraduate and graduate students, are encouraged to apply for WTS International and WTS Foundation scholarships. In addition, collegiate students are encouraged to apply for the annual WTS Delaware Collegiate Scholarship. Through these initiatives and scholarship opportunities, WTS Delaware is committed to supporting students in exploring transportation careers, pursuing their educational goals, and developing into the next generation of transportation leaders.
