Nominations are now OPEN for WTS Pittsburgh Recognition Awards.
Join WTS Pittsburgh as we celebrate our annual recognitions awards!. This year will be a Reflection of Leadership—an evening dedicated to honoring the individuals, organizations, and projects whose achievements continue to shape the future of transportation in Pittsburgh.
The Annual Recognition Awards is an event you won't want to miss! On Thursday, October 8, 2026, we will gather at the iconic PPG Wintergarden to reflect on the excellence, innovation, mentorship, and leadership that have strengthened our industry and inspired future generations.
If you or someone you know fits the criteria for any of the awards below, we encourage you to submit a nomination. Local award recipients may also have the opportunity to be recognized on the international stage at a future WTS International conference. Please submit your nominations to Danielle List ([email protected]) by Thursday, August 27, 2026.
Below are the 2026 Award Categories:
WTS Member of the Year Award -This award acknowledges a WTS Member who has made extraordinary contributions to the success of the organization.
WTS Woman of the Year Award -This category is designed to reach out beyond our membership to honor a woman who is an outstanding role model in transportation.
WTS Employer of the Year Award - This award honors an organization (company, non-profit, association, or government agency) for recruiting, retaining, and advancing women.
WTS Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award - This award recognizes either an organization(s) or individual(s).
WTS Honorable Ray LaHood Award - This award acknowledges a man who is a leader in transportation who has directly contributed toward the advancement of woman and minorities through programs or opportunities in the transportation field.
WTS Innovative Transportation Solutions Award - This award salutes an innovative transportation project led by a woman.
