The WTS Foundation awards scholarships to women who are pursuing careers in transportation through undergraduate and graduate programs. The scholarships are competitive and based on the applicant's specific transportation goals, academic record and transportation-related activities or job skills. Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.

The local WTS Michigan Chapter is supporting four scholarships for deserving women in Michigan!  Two undergraduate scholarships that award $2,500 each and two graduate scholarships at $3,000 each.  The women that win at the local level are automatically entered at the International level for their chance at scholarships with even higher values!  Details of each scholarship are on the first page of each application.

Application Timeline

All applications for national scholarships are submitted through chapter first. The chapters make their selections and then also submit their nominations for national scholarship consideration to the WTS Foundation Board.
