annual awards

Each year the Metropolitan Phoenix Chapter holds its signature event - The Annual Scholarship and Award Ceremony - to celebrate special people and organizations. The scholarship portion of the program is the culmination of our most inspiring community-focused effort. It allows us to bring the mission of advancing women in transportation to the "ground-level" where female students are striving to establish or grow careers in transportation. During the awards portion of the program, the Chapter recognizes individuals and organizations that have contributed to the success of our field. Awards are presented to nominees who have been chosen for the following categories:

  • WTS Metro Phoenix Chapter Member of the Year

  • WTS Metro Phoenix Chapter Woman of the Year

  • WTS Metro Phoenix Chapter Employer of the Year

  • WTS Metro Phoenix Chapter Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award

  • WTS Metro Phoenix Chapter Innovative Transportation Solutions Award

  • WTS Metro Phoenix Chapter New Member of the Year Award

  • WTS Metro Phoenix Chapter Honorable Ray LaHood Award

The 2020 Annual Awards Ceremony will be held on Friday, September 18 at The Clayton House in Downtown Scottsdale. Be on the lookout for the Save the Date.
