WTS CT Fall Hike
Join WTS Connecticut for a fall hike around MDC Reservoir No. 6 in West Hartford!
Enjoy a morning outdoors while connecting with fellow WTS members and friends. We'll follow the approximately 3.6-mile Red Loop around the reservoir, a mostly flat gravel trail expected to take approximately 2 to 3 hours. We'll take breaks along the way at points of interest for water, snacks, and photos.

Meet-Up Time: 9:00 AM
Hike Begins: 9:15 AM
Location: MDC Reservoir No. 6, 3022 Albany Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117
Please meet at the rear parking lot near the water treatment facility. The trailhead parking area has a portable toilet.
What to Bring: Participants should bring water, a snack, a daypack, and weather-appropriate clothing and footwear.

WTS, ACEC, and CMAA STEM Night
STEM Night is back!
Join WTS, ACEC, and CMAA Connecticut chapters at the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford on October 15 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. for the 7th Annual STEM Night!
Students in grades 5–12 are invited to explore the transportation, engineering, and construction industries through fun, hands-on activities designed to inspire interest in STEM-related careers.
We invite organizations and industry professionals to participate as exhibitors and help introduce students to the exciting opportunities available in STEM. Please see the linked flyer for exhibitor information and reach out to Karina Massey with any questions.

Planning to attend with a student? Advance registration for student participants is not required. Additional event details will be shared as they become available. We look forward to seeing you there!

Transportation Engineering: Explore Your Future
Join WTS Connecticut and the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) for a virtual panel exploring careers in transportation engineering.
Panelists from across the transportation industry will share their experiences, discuss their career paths, and provide insight into the wide range of opportunities available in transportation engineering. Students will also have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about what a future in the transportation industry could look like.
Please share this free virtual event with high school students who may be interested in engineering, transportation, or other STEM careers.
This event is free and open to high school students. Advance registration is required.
