Highlight and Celebrate Connecticut's Small Businesses

WTS Connecticut is hosting a special Leadership event the morning of Wednesday, May 28th at the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) Headquarters in Newington, CT. This event is designed to highlight and celebrate Connecticut’s small businesses—especially those making an impact in the transportation industry—and to share resources and opportunities available to help them grow. It will also be an event to learn about the process and certifications needed to become a recognized and certified small business in the state.

We’re extending a warm invitation to our WTS CT community, small businesses across various industries in Connecticut to join us for this event, connect with state agencies, and explore how DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) and SBE (Small Business Enterprise) initiatives are evolving across the state.

The program will include:

  • Presentations from CTDOT’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise team and CT DAS
  • Roundtable discussions and networking opportunities
  • Insights from DBE/SBE businesses

Date & Time: Wednesday, May 28th, 8:30 am - 10:30 am. Breakfast items will be served beginning at 8:30 am. Program will begin at 9:00 am.
