WTS-CT Membership Webinar

Join WTS-CT on June 26th at 12pm for an interactive workshop lead by Vanessa Spatafora a Consulting Partner with KJR. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about prejudices, assumptions, and privileges. Participants will gain a deeper understanding and comfort with inclusive practices and vocabulary and identify ways your organization can continue to be safer and more inclusive for all members. Leaders will explore what it means to support and cultivate allyship in their organization.
Vanessa Spatafora is an organizational Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DEIB) partner for business and HR leaders. With over a decade of DEIB Leadership experience across Professional Services, Big Law, Start-up/New Tech, and Big Technology industries, Vanessa combines deep subject matter expertise with practical systemic disruption strategies. Through engaging experiences, Vanessa helps teams to build critical inclusion capabilities and explore new solutions for equitable employee experiences.

Join WTS-CT for a Book Club Discussion! The WTS CT Leadership Committee will host the first book club session of the year on July 8th at 5:30pm in West Hartford (location TBD)!!
Book: Breaking Boundaries: Unlocking Leadership Potential at Every Level
Authors: Robert D. Murphy & Stephen Zimmerman, PhD
Discussion Focus: Chapters 1–7
WTS-CT is giving away five free books to the first five people who register for the event—sign up today to secure your copy! A representative from the Leadership Committee will reach out to coordinate book pickup.
You do not need to complete the full reading to attend! The discussion will be an open dialogue focused on general themes and topics from Chapters 1–7. Feel free to bring questions or highlights from the book—light supper refreshments will be provided. (Stay tuned—Part 2 will follow later this year.)
