We are an all volunteer organization.  The success of the chapter is directly related to the direct participation of our members. Committees offer a variety of options for members to get directly involved the SW Idaho chapter by sharing their special skills and talents.  Committees also provide a way for members to gain leadership skills and opportunities to take on leadership roles.

Membership Committee

This committee is responsible for setting annual goals for recruiting new members and retaining existing members.  For more information about joining the SW Idaho Chapter, or if you would like more information regarding the benefits of being a WTS member, contact Maria Tangarife, PE. 

Programs and Events Committee

This committee coordinates our SW Idaho Chapter's monthly meetings and special events.  Check out the events tab on our home page for a current listing of upcoming speakers and events. For more information about serving on this committee contact Whitney Ciani, PE and Alexis Moyer. 

Corporate Partners Committee

Awards Committee

The SW Idaho Chapter holds an annual awards gala each spring.  This is an opportunity for our chapter to recognize leaders in the transportation industry.  We could always use additional help in planning the event.  For more information, contact Kelli Baker, PE. 

Communications Committee

We issue a newsletter to inform our members about topics of interest in the region and nationally.  This newsletter is a great opportunity to get to know WTS members and partners through profile highlights.  The communication committee is also responsible for maintaining our website pages, social media, and marketing.  If you would like to assist on this committee, please contact Jillian Garrigues.

Scholarship Committee

The SW Idaho chapter first initiated a scholarship committee and fundraising drive in 2011 to support students studying in transportation related fields.  Today, the Scholarship Committee proudly organizes our annual fundraiser and provides outreach to potential scholarship applicants.  If you would like to assist on this committee, please contact Mariah Allison.

Transportation YOU! Committee
