Hydraulics Engineer

VDOT Hampton Roads District is seeking a Hydraulics Engineer to join their Location & Design section. This role involves designing and reviewing drainage systems—such as channels, culverts, storm sewers, and stormwater management facilities—for highway projects and related transportation infrastructure. The engineer will also contribute to erosion and sediment control plans, assist in resolving design and construction phase issues, and provide technical guidance and policy input on hydraulic design.
