Our Chapter
Welcome to the WTS Greater Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter!
The Greater Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter was incorporated by just a few colleagues in 1989, and membership has steadily increased through a variety of trainings, tours, and networking events as well as through recognition of outstanding achievement through awards and scholarships. What created this community nearly 40 years ago still exists today: a passion for helping women in all fields of transportation grow in their careers and boldly moving our industry forward. We will continue to accomplish this by focusing on the following two goals:
Broaden Our Reach – The Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex is quickly growing and evolving, and our influence should increase accordingly. We aim to be on the forefront of addressing transportation issues and offering support to a wider group of professionals and students.
Deepen Our Connections – Whether you have been a member of WTS for decades or are considering attending your first event, you are welcome and we value your contributions to our organization. We look forward to getting to know you.
