Welcome to the WTS Colorado Chapter!
WTS is an international organization dedicated to the professional advancement of women in transportation. Founded in 1977, WTS boasts roughly 6,500 members internationally – both women and men. WTS exists to raise the profile of the transportation profession and to help women find opportunity and recognition within the industry.
The WTS Colorado chapter has hundreds of members committed to excellence within the transportation sector. The chapter is dedicated to inspiring and empowering professionals with the latest information and innovations.
In order to fulfill our mission of transforming the transportation industry through the advancement of women, WTS Colorado provides access to the highest levels of the transportation industry. Our programs couple member interaction with relevant, thought-provoking speakers. Comprehensive educational forums and discussions foster professional development and provide valuable exposure to timely transportation issues.

Apply for the WTS Colorado Executive Board!
Are you interested in joining the WTS Colorado Executive Board? We encourage you to apply for a position in the upcoming term! The term will officially begin in January 2027 and will be a two-year commitment (January 2027–December 2028).
The selection committee will accept applications from Aug. 6 to Sept. 7 and will finalize the WTS Colorado Executive Board slate in October. Position training and overlap with the current executive board will begin in November to ensure a smooth transition at the end of the current term.
Applicants are required to share their previous involvement with WTS, detail their leadership experience and demonstrate their commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, along with other relevant attributes.
