Join the WTS DEI Committee for a Transportation Equity In Practice workshop at Centilia Cultural Center near the Beacon Hill Link Station. In this facilitated and interactive workshop, we will:

  • Learn about the historic context and impacts of the Puget Sound’s transportation network,
  • Establish a common language and put our understanding of transportation equity into practice, and
  • Generate actionable personal and professional next steps to advance transportation equity in your work.

Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive before the workshop starts at 4:30 p.m. to enjoy a light dinner of authentic Oaxacan food from Antojitos Lita Rosita.

  • The Centilia Cultural Center is located across the street from the Beacon Hill light rail station and served by King County Metro bus routes 36 (Othello station), 60 (White Center, Westwood Village), and 107 (Georgetown, Renton). 
  • The meeting space offers ADA-compliant, ground-level, step-free access, including an accessible garage entrance, restrooms, and parking.

Ticket Pricing

WTS is offering a limited quantity of "Buy One, Get One" tickets. Register two people for the price of one ($12 total). Available on a first come, first served basis. After these run out, registration will cost $12 per person.
