Join us in advancing women in transportation! We’re holding the inaugural event for our WTS members in the South Sound. We’ll kick off the evening with an overview of transportation highlights from the 2025 state legislative session with a panel of accomplished leaders.

Networking
Networking will begin at 4:00 pm with the panel discussion starting at around 4:30pm.
Panel Discussion
The panel discussion will be moderated by Barb Chamberlain (Director, Active Transportation Division, WSDOT) with speakers:
- Megan Cotton: Senior Transportation Policy Advisor for Gov. Bob Ferguson
- Kristina Walker: Tacoma City Council Member; Chair, Pierce County Transit Board of Commissioners; Sound Transit Board of Directors
- Jane Wall: Executive Director, County Road Administration Board
An audience Q&A will take place after the panel discussion.
Wrap-up
We’ll wrap up with an audience Q&A by 6:00 p.m. to allow for more networking time.
