WTS-CenCal is accepting nominations for 2026 Transportation Awards! 

Submission Deadline: EOD Friday, September 18, 2026

Please take the time to honor and recognize those in our community who are outstanding leaders and organizations in the transportation industry. We look forward to recognizing these exceptional projects, agencies, and employers in the transportation industry during our annual Awards Gala in November!

2026 Award Categories

Planning Transportation Project of the Year - Planning

This award honors the planning efforts for projects that increase transportation choices for all populations. (Examples: Transportation studies; complete streets plans or projects, plans for pedestrian, streets, highways, aviation, parking, maritime, transit or rail; development and expansion of transportation systems; development and expansion of trail system)

 

Transportation Project of the Year - Design Under $10 Million

This award honors design projects under $10 Million construction value that have completed a significant project milestone (i.e. 15%, 30%, 60%, 90%). (Examples: Streetscape, Underground Utility, Aviation, Highway/Freeway, Interchange)

 

Transportation Project of the Year - Design Over $10 Million

This award honors design projects over $10 Million construction value that have completed a significant project milestone (i.e. 15%, 30%, 60%, 90%).  (Examples: Streetscape, Underground Utility, Aviation, Highway/Freeway, Interchange)

 

Transportation Project of the Year - Construction Under $10 Million

This award honors construction projects under $10 Million construction value. (Examples: Streetscape, Underground Utility, Aviation, Highway/Freeway, Interchange)

 

Transportation Project of the Year - Construction Over $10 Million

This award honors construction projects over $10 Million construction value. (Examples: Streetscape, Underground Utility, Aviation, Highway/Freeway, Interchange)

 

Agency of the Year

The Agency of the Year award is designed to honor an agency for their support of the goals and purpose of WTS by recruiting, retaining, and advancing women.

 

Employer of the Year

The Employer of the Year award is designed to honor an organization for their support of the goals and purpose of WTS by recruiting, retaining, and advancing women.
