Our diverse and passionate team is comprised of transportation planners, transit service planners, data scientists, GIS experts, communications and visualization specialists, and transportation demand management specialists. Our key service areas are:

  • Transit service planning
  • Transit operations and facilities planning
  • Regional and statewide planning
  • BRT, bus priority, and corridor planning
  • Microtransit and new mobility
  • Transportation demand management
  • Strategic and financial planning and management
  • Micromobility and active transportation.

We complement our core service areas with specialized support in four key areas: Data Science, Public and Stakeholder Engagement, Design and Visualization, and GIS. We’ve found that these four areas are key to success across all our services.

Some key facts about Foursquare ITP specific to Philadelphia:

  • Our service area leads for strategic planning, micromobility and active transportation, design and visualization, and GIS are all in our Philadelphia office.
  • Some of our recent work includes supporting SEPTA with GIS and GTFS Technical Support as well as on the agency’s plans for relocation and expansion of the Darby Transportation Center; developing a station master plan for the Lancaster train station for PennDOT and a transit development plan for SCTA in Lancaster; and working with the City of Philadelphia on its transit plan.

Our company in part has roots with WTS-Philadelphia, as our founder and CEO was awarded the chapter’s undergraduate scholarship in 1995! We look forward to continuing our relationship with WTS-Philadelphia through our company membership.
