WTS Tampa Bay was proud to participate in the 2026 USF Engineering Expo, held April 10–11, 2026, where our volunteers engaged with K–12 students through hands-on, transportation-focused activities designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

Throughout the two-day event, students were introduced to the world of transportation engineering through interactive activities that encouraged problem-solving and imagination. From building bridges using basic materials to exploring how engineers design safe intersections, participants were invited to think like engineers while having fun along the way.

We’re grateful to AREHNA Engineering for providing the core samples on display and for the opportunity to take part in this impactful event. We look forward to continuing our outreach efforts throughout the Tampa Bay community.
