WTS Northeast Florida Celebrates Transportation Leaders at Annual Awards Reception
Jacksonville, FL – The Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) Northeast Florida celebrated excellence in transportation during its 2025 Annual Awards Recognition Reception held Friday, November 7, 2025, at The River Club. Individuals and organizations were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the transportation industry on the First Coast. The event brought together professionals and community leaders to honor outstanding contributions that advance the WTS mission of attracting, sustaining, and advancing women in transportation.
2025 Chapter Award Recipients
- Woman of the Year: Cantrece Jones, CEO, Acuity Design Group (ADG)
- Honorable Ray LaHood Award: James Bennett, COO, JAXPORT
- Member of the Year: Lauren Pradella, HDR
- Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award: Councilmember Ju’Coby Pittman, COJ Council
- Educator of the Year: Dr. April Murdaugh, CEO, Woman to Woman Financial
- Transportation Innovative Solutions Award: NAVI, Jacksonville Transportation Authority
- Employer of the Year: RS&H
Each fall, WTS Northeast Florida members and professionals submit award nominations, which are then evaluated by a dedicated committee, based on leadership, influence, and alignment with WTS values. Local honorees are also considered for WTS International recognition, providing an opportunity for their achievements to be celebrated nationally.
“It’s an honor to recognize the trailblazers who represent the best of our industry,” said Madelene Skinner, APR, President of WTS Northeast Florida and Market Development Leader at RS&H. “Their contributions create opportunities and strengthen the transportation community across our region.”
