On Friday, October 10, 2025, the WTS-LA Professional Development Committee hosted an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour with Foothill Transit, giving members the opportunity to ride a hydrogen fuel cell bus and explore the agency’s refueling and maintenance facilities.

Participants learned about Foothill Transit’s leadership in zero-emission technology adoption, operational best practices, and the challenges and opportunities of transitioning to a sustainable fleet. The event provided valuable insight into how innovative agencies are advancing the future of clean mobility while maintaining reliable service for their communities.
