WTS International applauds the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Biden Administration for committing to projects that reverse inequities in the transportation sector.  While there is still much to accomplish, today’s announcement of $185M awarded via the Reconnecting Communities Grants program is a step forward in mitigating barriers, addressing historical decisions that affect primarily underserved populations, and providing not only job opportunities to women, but also access to improved social and economic well-being.
