Angie Gompert, Vineyard Transit Administrator

Angela Gompert is Administrator of the Martha’s Vineyard Transit Authority, the public transportation provider for the Island of Martha’s Vineyard. Angie has led the transit authority for 25 years through its evolution from simple park-and-ride and seasonal beach services to a year-round service carrying over 1.4 million passengers annually. Over the past several years, Angie has spearheaded an ambitious project to electrify the entire bus fleet and install the electrical charging, solar collection and battery storage systems required to effectively power the bus fleet. 

Sandra Sheehan, Administrator of the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority

Sandra Sheehan is the Administrator of the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority, the largest regional transit authority in Massachusetts. She previously served as Director of Grants and Contract Administration at the Greater Hartford Transit District. She began her career at the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission as a transportation planner. Sandra earned her MS in engineering management at Western New England University and a BS in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Felicia Webb, Administrator of the Cape Ann Transportation Authority

Felicia S. Webb has served as Administrator of the Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA)  since 2019. Prior to becoming Administrator, Felicia served CATA as  Interim Administrator Deputy Administrator/Planner starting in 2014. Felicia’s transportation career began as a Student Supervisor and Bus Operator at the University of Virginia Transit Service Charlottesville, VA, where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts.

Meredith Slesinger, MassDOT Deputy Rail and Transit Administrator (Moderator)

Meredith Slesinger joined MassDOT as the deputy rail and transit administrator in August 2020. Previously, she was the senior director of strategic planning at Amtrak where she led development of Amtrak’s five-year business plans, staffed the Board of Directors, and led other cross-cutting corporate initiatives. She graduated from New York University with a B.A. in comparative literature.
