WTS-Boston 2025 Leadership Forum
WTS-Boston is thrilled to announce Abbie Goodman as the recipient of this year's WTS-Boston Leadership Award.
The WTS-Boston Leadership Award is an annual award given to a woman who has made significant contributions to the transportation industry that aligns with the mission, vision, guiding principles, and core values of WTS. This may include directly contributing to the advancement of women and minorities through programs or opportunities in the transportation field; or a woman who, through her career achievements and support of women in the industry, has advanced the reputation and credibility of women in transportation.
About Abbie:
Abbie R. Goodman, IOM, joined The Engineering Center Education Trust (TECET) in May 1996 and serves as Executive Director of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA), one of TECET's three sponsoring associations.
Throughout her career in the non-profit, public, and private sectors, Abbie has built a reputation for effective coalition-building and advocacy on public policy and infrastructure challenges, as well as championing diversity in public boards, agencies, and elected office.
Previously, she served as Executive Director of the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, managing the $9.8 million marketing program, and the Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment, where she opened Commonwealth trade offices in Berlin and Jerusalem.
A graduate of the US Chamber of Commerce's Institute for Organization Management, Abbie served as President of the National Association of Engineering Council Executives in FY2017. She holds a BA in Communication from Chatham University.
Ms. Goodman will receive the WTS-Boston Leadership Award at an invitation-only reception in Boston. Please keep your eyes out for a separate invitation in your email if you are a sponsor, public official, or 2025 WTS-Boston leader.
