On Thursday, April 13, 2023, WTS-LA’s Transportation YOU committee was one of 20 organizations invited to participate in North Hollywood High School’s annual Resource and Career Fair. Ashlien Savage and Sofia Duran (pictured at right) met with high school students of all grades to answer questions about potential careers in the transportation industry!

Several students they spoke to were girls interested in engineering, computer science, writing, and design. Ashlien and Sofia enjoyed learning about the interests of all the students and connecting these interests to various career paths in the transportation industry. The WTS table had a great turnout, with groups of students engaging in conversation and building excitement around careers in Transportation throughout the entire two-hour fair!

This event is one of many this year where Transportation YOU will continue interacting with bright young minds and highlighting what the transportation industry offers.
