Seeking Volunteers: STEM Day at Iowa State Fair on August 20
WTS - Iowa Chapter is participating at the STEM DAY AT THE IOWA STATE FAIR!!
This family-friendly event at the State Fair’s Grand Concourse provides kids with opportunities to learn about how STEM touches our lives daily and to experience hands-on activities from organizations across the state.

LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS!
We are asking for 3 volunteers for each 3-hour time slot to assist making this a successful event. Volunteers will receive fair admission tickets, STEM T-shirts, and parking tickets (only for the early timeslots). More information regarding parking options and time slots are provided in the registration link below.
We will have construction paper and other materials on hand for the older kids to do a Paper Bridge Design Challenge and the younger kids can play with matchbox cars on a transportation floor mat and learn how streets work.
