2025 WTS-LA Award Winner Spotlight: Educator of the Year Patricia Dorsey, Azusa High School
WTS‑LA is proud to honor Patricia Dorsey, Career Technical Education (CTE) teacher at Azusa High School, CTE Coordinator, and CTE Department Chair, as our 2025 Educator of the Year.
For more than 33 years, Patricia has championed student success—teaching Business and Computer Science courses and leading industry‑aligned CTE Pathways that prepare students for both college and career. Beyond the classroom, she dedicated 26 years to Cross Country and Track & Field coaching, instilling teamwork, perseverance, and leadership in countless student‑athletes.
What stands out most? Former students regularly return to share their successes, crediting the spark Patricia lit and the opportunities she opened as a coach and educator. She is a positive force for change in every student’s life.
