Meet the Emerging Leaders Committee

Emerging Leaders Feature

Emerging Leaders is a forum for early career women and gender-diverse professionals to come together as the next generation of transportation leaders in Philadelphia. As an Emerging Leader, you gain access to a network of peers, exclusive speakers, personalized development events, and a front-row seat to all that WTS Philadelphia has to offer!

Emerging Leaders typically have between two to eight years of experience, exclusive of internships and co-ops, and are employed by all types of organizations (private, public, or agency). All job titles are welcome, and you do not need to be a WTS Philadelphia member to apply. However, Emerging Leaders are encouraged to become WTS Philadelphia members throughout the cohort. There is no fee associated with the Emerging Leaders program.

Applications for the 2027-2028 Emerging Leaders cohort are expected to open in February 2027, so sign up for the WTS Philadelphia chapter emails to stay up to date on the application period!
