LFAL Event Recap: Pressing Reset: Recharging Your Career and Mindset
On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, WTS Philadelphia hosted a sold-out Learn From a Leader (LFAL) panel titled Pressing Reset: Recharging Your Career and Mindset. The evening featured an engaging panel of industry leaders including Angela Dixon; Jennifer Dougherty, AICP; Heather Martin, AICP; and Venessa Nedrick, PE. Back by popular demand, Katie Markowitz, MBA, served as the event’s moderator.
The panel explored moving forward after experiencing burnout and feelings of apathy or stagnation. Panelists shared personal experiences and practical tips, noting that while everyone’s journey is different, pivoting your career and mindset is something everyone experiences. They encouraged leaning into supportive relationships and looking inward to determine your wants and needs to better advocate for yourself.
The evening concluded with a lively Q&A, where attendees continued the conversation and sought additional insights on maintaining boundaries and tangible ways to seek new opportunities.
