Genoveva Arellano Wins the 2025 WTS International Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award
At this year's WTS International 2025 Annual Conference, themed "The WTS Mosaic: Mobility and Momentum," held May 7 - 9, 2025, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Genoveva L. Arellano, Owner and Principal of Arellano Associates, was honored with the prestigious Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award.
The Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award honors Rosa Park's incredible fortitude and self-sacrifice, and recognizes someone in the transportation community who displays the same courage and altruism. Genoveva's dedication to diversity is evident in Arellano Associates' workforce, which is 69% women and 75% minorities, as well as in her mentorship of women and minorities within the transportation industry. She has significantly advanced women in leadership at her firm, where two-thirds of the management team are women leading major projects. Through her work, she continues to champion representation and foster opportunities for underserved communities.
