We celebrated Women’s History Month on March 18th with FULL SPEED AHEAD: Leading Women in Amtrak’s New Era of Rail.
We were honored to be joined by an all-star panel, moderated by Anna Lynn Smith, Vice President, Strategy & Planning, who is also a former WTS Philadelphia chapter President. The panel featured Gail Barman, Assistant Project Director, Capital Delivery leading the 30th Street Station Redevelopment, Marie Corrado, Assistant Vice President for Major Programs leading the Gateway project, Julia Costello, Director of Talent Acquisition Support across all Amtrak groups, and Danelle Hunter, Senior Director of Community Engagement, leading the way for how Amtrak is interacting with the communities served. The panel discussed how their group at Amtrak is approaching unprecedented funding levels, new initiatives, and momentum that Amtrak is enjoying, what opportunities our industry should expect to see, and how they arrived at their leadership positions – sharing advice and wisdom gained with our guests.
