Florida WTS Leaders Connect, Learn and Share at 2026 Chapter Leadership Summit

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, 21 WTS chapter leaders representing four Florida chapters gathered at DRMP's Orlando office for the 2026 Florida Chapter Leadership Summit, hosted by the Central Florida Chapter. This second annual summit provided a day of fellowship, education and collaboration focused on sharing best practices, strengthening chapter leadership and enhancing the service and value we provide to our members.

We were honored to welcome WTS International Board Chair Erin Slayton, who opened the summit with remarks highlighting the important role chapter leaders play and reminding us that our decisions ultimately connect back to the members we serve. Erin also shared an exciting milestone on the horizon: WTS International will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2027, and the organization now represents 10,000 members across 72 chapters, including five in Florida.

The summit also featured guest speaker Dana Neiger, who led an engaging session on Leadership and Interpersonal Skills and provided valuable insights chapter leaders can apply within their boards, committees and professional lives.

Throughout the day, participants exchanged ideas, discussed challenges and successes, and shared best practices to help our Florida chapters continue to grow and provide meaningful opportunities for members. WTS Tampa Bay was well represented, with four Board members participating in the summit and bringing valuable ideas and insights back to our chapter.

Thank you to Erin Slayton and Dana Neiger for sharing their time and insights, to DRMP for hosting us, and to all 21 chapter leaders who helped make the 2026 Florida Chapter Leader Summit a success.
