Event Recap: WTS-Boston February Luncheon with Reggie Ramos, Executive Director T4MA
The WTS-Boston Chapter held its February luncheon seminar on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the UMass Club in Boston. As a direct result of our members, leadership, and sponsors, Boston continues to be one the largest and most influential chapters in the overall WTS International organization.
Gina Solman, WTS-Boston President, welcomed the approximately 200 guests at this fully booked WTS-Boston event. Before she welcomed our keynote speaker, she acknowledged and thanked our corporate sponsors who without their support, WTS Boston would not be as successful a chapter as we are, and we are truly grateful for this.
Gina then welcomed Reggie Ramos, Executive Director of Transportation for Massachusetts (T4MA) as the event keynote speaker. Reggie talked about transportation justice and what this means for the work of their coalition. An immigrant from the global south, Reggie brought her own lived experience as she leads T4MA in hosting capacious conversations on transportation and its transformative power.
