Event Recap: WTS-Boston December 2025 Luncheon Seminar & Annual Meeting

On Wednesday, December 10, WTS-Boston hosted its December Luncheon Seminar and Annual Meeting at the University of Massachusetts

Club in Boston. The event brought together current and incoming members of the Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and committee leadership, reflecting the depth and strength of leadership across the chapter.

WTS-Boston President Sarah Bergman welcomed attendees and opened the program by recognizing the chapter’s generous corporate sponsors, whose continued support plays a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission. She then led the Annual Meeting portion of the luncheon, providing an opportunity to acknowledge the dedicated leaders who have served the chapter over the past year and to welcome the incoming leadership team who will help guide WTS-Boston in the year ahead.

Following the Annual Meeting portion of the luncheon, President Bergman introduced the featured speaker, Dr. Malika Reed Wilkins, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of WTS International. Dr. Wilkins delivered an engaging and inspirational address that resonated strongly with attendees, reinforcing the importance of leadership, collaboration, and shared purpose in advancing women and strengthening the transportation industry.

Her remarks reflected a forward-looking perspective on the future of WTS and the industry, encouraging members to continue building momentum, elevating voices, and deepening collective impact across communities and generations. The alignment between the chapter’s leadership transition and Dr. Wilkins’ vision underscored the vital connection between WTS-Boston and WTS International.

The December Luncheon Seminar and Annual Meeting served as both a celebration of the chapter’s accomplishments and a meaningful moment to look ahead, reaffirming WTS-Boston’s commitment to strong leadership, member engagement, and the continued advancement of women in transportation.
