The Boston Chapter held its Annual New Year's Reception in person on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Boston Courtyard Marriott Downtown. As a direct result of our members, leadership, and sponsors, Boston continues to be one of the largest and most influential chapters in the overall WTS International organization.

Sarah Bergman, WTS-Boston President, welcomed all 300+ guests to the first WTS-Boston event in 2025. Before she welcomed our distinguished guests, she acknowledged and thanked our corporate sponsors and the 2025 chapter leadership team. Without their support of WTS-Boston and our mission, Boston would not be as successful a chapter as we are, and we are truly grateful for this.

WTS-Boston was delighted to host and celebrate the new Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Massachusetts Port Authority, Rich Davey! With humor and wit, Rich provided updates about Massport’s accomplishments and plans for the coming year.  It was an incredible evening and we thank all those who were able to attend in person to congratulate Rich on his new appointment. Congratulations, Rich!

Special thanks to our Special Projects Committee for planning and running this event, especially co-chairs Judith Gibson-Okunieff (City of Boston), Katherine Patch (Fuss & O'Neill, Inc.), and their board liaison, Ali Mattson (HNTB).
