In April, Co-chairs WTS-LA College Committee Human Resources Manager Ashlien Savage and Manager of Community Engagement Linda Apodaca were joined by College Committee members, WTS-LA President Mahsa Pan and other professionals to host the annual College Networking Mixer at Arcadis in downtown Los Angeles.

The event gives college students an opportunity to meet and hear from transportation industry professionals about the exciting career opportunities in transportation. The evening included people bingo, resume reviews, professional headshots and a thoughtful presentation by O2EPCM Inc. President, CEO Omoné Livingston and Senior Executive Officer, Project Management Oversight LA Metro Kathy Knox.

In addition, the WTS-LA Scholarships Committee attended the event and encouraged students to apply for the WTS-LA Scholarship and consider careers in transportation.

Events like this hopefully inspires the next generation of transportation professionals by fostering meaningful connections, sharing industry insights, and opening doors to impactful career pathways.
