On April 2, 2026, WTS-LA hosted its annual College Networking Mixer at Arcadis in downtown Los Angeles. WTS-LA's College Committee Co-chairs Ashlien Savage, Foothill Transit Human Resources Manager, and Linda Apodaca, Foothill Transit Community Engagement Manager, were joined by their committee members as well as WTS-LA President Mahsa Pan and other professionals to meet the next generation of transportation leaders.

The event provided college students with the opportunity to connect with transportation professionals and learn about the diverse and exciting career paths within the industry. The evening featured engaging activities including People Bingo, resume reviews, professional headshots, and an inspiring presentation by O2EPCM Inc. President and CEO Omoné Livingston and LA Metro Senior Executive Officer of Project Management Oversight, Kathy Knox.

Members of the WTS-LA Scholarships Committee were also in attendance, encouraging students to apply for WTS-LA scholarships and explore careers in transportation. Events like this play a vital role in inspiring the next generation of transportation professionals by fostering meaningful connections, sharing industry insights, and opening doors to impactful career opportunities.
