Building Together: Tampa Bay Construction Mixer

Initiated by HNTB and hosted in partnership with WTS Tampa Bay, the Building Together: Tampa Bay Construction Mixer was held on Wednesday, March 4, bringing together professionals from across the design and construction industries in recognition of Women in Construction Week. The event featured a panel discussion, “Women Who Build: Leading, Shaping & Inspiring the Future of Construction,” followed by a networking reception.

The panel brought together industry leaders representing public agencies and consulting firms to share career perspectives and insights on leadership, mentorship, and the evolving role of women in construction and transportation. Panelists included Kayla Sapp (FDOT District One), Jessica McCrory (AREHNA Engineering), Jaime Deese (HNTB), and Chiara Rosignoli (H&H and WTS Tampa Bay Membership Chair). The discussion was moderated by Rachael Northcutt (HNTB and current WTS Tampa Bay Vice President).

Following the discussion, attendees connected during a networking reception that encouraged dialogue and relationship-building across the Tampa Bay construction and transportation community.

Conceived and led by HNTB, the Building Together Construction Mixer aligns with WTS Tampa Bay’s mission to advance women in transportation and construction by supporting leadership, visibility, and professional growth. WTS Tampa Bay thanks HNTB, the panelists, and all attendees for making the event a success.
