Award Nominations Open
WTS Iowa Members, It is time to nominate your colleagues for the 2021 Iowa Chapter Awards!
The nominees for each of the awards come from you, the WTS community. Please Take a moment now to honor and recognize those in our chapter and our community and propose a candidate who has contributed to WTS and the local transportation community and make a difference in their careers.
Your nominations are due by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
Descriptions of the criteria for each award are included below. Member awards are limited to active Iowa chapter members. Anyone may make a nomination!
- WTS-IA Member of the Year: This award is our opportunity to acknowledge a WTS member who has made extraordinary contributions to the success of the organization.
- WTS-IA Employer of the Year: This award is designed to honor an Iowa organization (company, non-profit, association, or a government agency) for their support of the goals and purpose of WTS, such as recruiting, retaining, and advancing women.
- WTS-IA Woman of the Year: This award is designed to honor a woman who is a leader in transportation and has made an outstanding contribution to the transportation industry.
Winners will be announced at the Annual WTS Meeting on November 18, 2021 with acceptance at the WTS Iowa GALA December 3, 2021.

SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. The nominations forms consist of text questions. Please fill out Pages 1 and 2 completely and as much as you can on Page 3. Someone from the selection committee will reach out to you if additional information is needed.
2. Each person may submit one nomination for each award category.
3. Please email your nominations to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
