Join WTS-NH for our next virtual Lunch n' Learn event that will focus on Allyship for Women in STEM presented by Dr. Victoria Verlezza, head of the Office of Employee Expereince at Fuss and O'Neill.
In our field, we often see that gender and sex are central to conversations so during this lunch and learn we will focus our time on women in STEM and how we can practice allyship within and across difference this includes women showing up for and supporting other women.
The discussion will include:
• foundations and terminology
• history
• language and microaggressions
• how to put it into action
About our Presenter:
Dr. Verlezza is the head of the Office of Employee Experience at Fuss and O’Neill. She serves as a steward of the firm’s inclusion, diversity, equity, and access efforts (IDEA) as well as the overall employee experience including a variety of areas from performance management, to learning and development, to coaching. She holds a PhD in Human Development from Fielding Graduate University and Masters degrees in Social Justice Education, Higher Education Administration, and Human Development. She has been working in DEI for 20 years and has joined Fuss and O’Neill to support employees foster inclusion and belonging.
