WTS

Please join us on Tuesday, July 28th, for the inaugural “TEDTalk About It Club,” co-hosted by the WTS-Boston Professional Development and Mentoring Committees!

Working in a team environment and the associated soft skills are just as important as technical expertise in today’s workplace. This three-month virtual series will focus on key topics such as teamwork, conflict resolution, and finding a professional sponsor. Each month, participants will gather to watch a featured TEDTalk, followed by facilitated small-group discussions to share insights and perspectives about the video's topic.

With the exception of the July event, the TEDTalk About It Club will take place on the third Tuesday of August and September. Each session stands alone, so you’re welcome to attend any or all events. We look forward to hearing diverse perspectives and engaging in meaningful conversations around the following topics:

- July 28th: "How to turn a group of strangers into a team" by Amy Edmondson

- August 18th: "3 ways to resolve conflict" by Dorothy Walker

- September 15th: "How to find the person who can help you get ahead at work" by Carla Harris

The first session will be hosted virtually on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026, from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. Registration for the first session will close on Friday, July 24th, 2026.
