Join the WTS-Boston Membership Committee on August 13th at 12:15pm in Dewey Square across from South Station. Get an up close and personal tour of the WTS-Boston Public Art celebrating Women in Transportation with the past Public Art Committee Co-Chairs Lisa Brothers of Nitsch Engineering and Hyun-A Park of Spy Pond Partners! Continue to connect with your peers over lunch - bring your own lunch or purchase lunch at the nearby food trucks or South Station.
The decade-long Public Art Project was commissioned by WTS-Boston, in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). The Public Art Project features a mosaic titled "Network" at the entrance to Boston’s South Station to celebrate the contributions of women to transportation and references the greater Boston transportation network. It also references the hidden work of women represented by almost invisible, surveying mermaids.
Registration is now open. Bring a co-worker - this is a free event and will take place rain or shine.
