The WTS-Boston Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee invites you to join our Book Club on Monday, June 3rd! Our first book of 2024 is People Before Highways by Karilyn Crockett, so add that book to your reading list and join us in June to discuss.
People Before Highways is an amazing book describing how residents, activists and planners rose to stop the build of an interstate highway that would disproportionately impact multiracial poor and working-class neighborhoods.
We'll get together virtually on June 3rd, 2024 at 6:00PM-7:00PM for a thoughtful discussion of the book.
