The Professional Development Committee invites panelists from WBE certified small businesses to discuss their experiences with running their women-owned firms. Topics will include certification and other considerations in founding a startup as well as benefits and challenges faced by entrepreneurs.

Kathy Campbell
Kathy Campbell is the President/CEO of CDW Consultants, a DBE/WBE certified environmental and civil engineering services firm. Kathy is a registered Professional Engineer (Env) MA/RI/CT, Licensed Site Professional (MA), LEED Accredited Professional, and an Envision Sustainability Professional. She brings 30+ years of experience in environmental assessment, permitting and compliance, engineering design and remediation in the selection and use of strategic planning, to bring transportation brownfields development projects and industrial sites to regulatory closure and productive re-use.
Marion Driscoll
Marion Driscoll is the Principal at MLD Services Inc, a DBE/WBE certified consulting company which provides services to the transportation, public safety and associated industries. Marion performs project management, contract management, inventory management, policy development, regulatory compliance, safety audits, and training evaluations. Prior to founding MLD Services in 2010, Marion served as Deputy Chief of Planning and Service Delivery for the MBTA, where she worked for more than 20 years.
Seta Kalaijian
Seta Kalaijian is the President of SMK Services Inc, a DBE/WBE certified construction and project management consulting firm. Seta provides construction management services including cost estimating, constructability review, planning, scheduling, document control, claims and changes, to public and private clients during design, pre-construction, procurement and construction phases. Seta previously worked as a project manager at Barletta Heavy Division for seventeen years before founding SMK Services in 2017.
Janice Bergeron
Janice Bergeron is President and CEO of RND Consultants, Inc, a DBE/WBE/SBE certified firm which delivers transformational projects from pre-development through construction for public and private clients. RND provides Program Management and Controls, Advisory, Real Estate Development, Real Estate Acquisitions/Relocations, Planning, Engineering and Construction Management services with a focus on complicated, high-risk issues.
