The WTS International Nominations Committee is proud to open the 2026-2028 Board Nominations process for application to either the WTS International Board or WTS Foundation Board!
The general responsibilities of a Board member for both the International and Foundation include strategic planning, fiduciary oversight, and policy setting. Please note, the mission and activities of WTS International are different than those of the WTS Foundation. The criteria to apply and sit on the WTS International and WTS Foundation Board of Directors can be reviewed here:
If you would be willing to serve on either the WTS Foundation Board of Directors or WTS International Board of Directors, you must complete both applications.
To apply, please complete the nomination application(s) below.
The application process will run through December 22nd. The Board Terms run from May 2026 through May 2028. The WTS International Nominations committee seeks diverse candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experiences including mode, public and private sector, profession, race and ethnicity, age, ability, gender, sexual orientation, and geographic location.
Timeline
- December 1st - December 22nd: Call for Nominations is open.
- December 23rd – January 25th: Nominations Committee reviews nominations.
- January 26th – February 13th: Nominations Committee will complete candidate interviews.
- Week of February 16th: Nominations Committee and the WTS International Board will finalize the slate.
- Week of February 23rd: Candidates will be notified of their status.
- March 2nd: Voting opens.
- March 20th: Voting closes.
- Week of March 23rd: Slate is confirmed and announcements distributed.
- May 2026: Annual Conference and Board term begins.
