2026 Annual Conference Abstract Submissions are now closed
The 2026 WTS International Annual Conference, Accelerating Innovation in Transportation, will be held May 5-7, 2026, at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles, California. We received abstracts from all transportation modes, including roads, transit, rail, active transportation, freight, aviation, maritime, and ports. We strongly encourage diversity and inclusion across all modes of transportation and speakers, and we welcome abstracts that highlight equity regardless of topic. Consider sharing your specialized transportation knowledge, innovations, insights, and experiences in a breakout panel session or WTS Talks presentation at the 2026 WTS Annual Conference. This will be a dynamic opportunity to showcase your ideas in Los Angeles.
To ensure strong representation and alignment with WTS’ mission, panel submissions must meet the following criteria:
-
At least two panelists must be current WTS members.
-
Not all panelists may represent the same firm/organizations; panels should reflect a range of perspectives and affiliations.
-
Each panel must include at least one representative from the public sector or a nonprofit organization. Panels consisting of exclusively consultants will not be accepted.
We invite you to consider how your work intersects with these pillars and to propose creative, future-focused sessions that advance our mission:
-
Expansion of modes of transportation
-
Focus on chapters and members
-
Support for small businesses
-
Strengthening the resiliency of WTS
