The White House is pleased to invite you to attend the Accelerating Infrastructure Summit, a virtual event, on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET. The Summit will feature announcements to accelerate the benefits of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

The $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, supplemented by the Inflation Reduction Act, represents the largest-ever investment in the nation’s infrastructure. These resources will help rebuild roads, bridges, airports, rail and transit lines, and ports; expand access to high-speed internet; deploy clean energy; and strengthen our nation’s resilience to climate change.

About 90% of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds will be delivered by non-federal partners, who have worked closely with federal agencies to revitalize our nation’s infrastructure. But to fully realize the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s historic promise, we are committing federal leadership and innovation to accelerate infrastructure to a higher standard of “On Time, On Task, and On Budget.” When it comes to delivering the benefits of world-class infrastructure to the American people, there is no time to waste.

This event will include panel discussions with Biden-Harris Administration officials, elected leaders from state and local governments, and leaders from academia, labor and trade associations, including:

  • White House Infrastructure Coordinator Mitch Landrieu
  • Secretary Pete Buttigieg, US Department of Transportation
  • Administrator Michael Regan, Environmental Protection Agency
  • Assistant Secretary Michael Connor, Army Civil Works
  • Mayor Michael B. Hancock, City of Denver
  • Mayor Vi Alexander Lyles, City of Charlotte
  • Secretary Shawn Wilson, Ph.D., President, AASHTO
  • Secretary Roger Millar, Washington State Department of Transportation
  • Neil Pedersen, P.E., Executive Director, Transportation Research Board
  • John Porcari, Managing Partner, 3P Enterprises
  • Maria Lehman, P.E., President-elect, American Society of Civil Engineers

Please RSVP here to join. We hope you can make it!

Best,

White House Infrastructure Implementation Team
