Please join us for a presentation by Andrea Lacasse from Tighe & Bond on small bridge challenges and solutions. In Massachusetts and Maine, a significant share of bridges are short spans (10–20 feet), often municipally owned and ineligible for federal funding, leaving towns responsible for their upkeep. This session will highlight MassDOT’s Small Bridge Program and feature real-world replacement and preservation projects, along with strategies for navigating design, funding, and site-specific challenges.
